Seven Minute Frosting Recipe.


You will need:

2 egg whites.
1/2 cup light corn syrup.
1/2 cup sugar.
1/8 teaspoon of salt.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.

Directions:

Combine eggs, sugar, syrup and salt in upper part of double boiler. Beat with rotary beater until partially mixed. Set pan over rapidly boiling water. Cook 3 to 4 minutes beating constantly with rotary beater until frosting stands in peaks. Remove pan from hot water. Continue beating 1 minute longer, add vanilla, beat into mix well.

For butterscotch 7 minute frosting substitute dark corn syrup for the light and brown sugar for white sugar.
